Elizabeth Hurley, Arun Nayer, Leona Lewis, Vivienne Westwood, Neil Tennant, Jasmine Guinness, Richard. E. Grant, Donna Air, Franny Armstrong, Noelle Reno, Rosemary Ferguson, Saffron Aldridge, Patsy Kensit, Jeremy Healey, Tom Atkins, and more.

UK film distributor Dogwoof are delighted to announce that fashion designer,  Stella McCartney will co-host the UK Premiere of the much anticipated documentary Food, IncMary McCartney will join Stella, as well as special guests and filmmakers Robert Kenner (director) and Eric Schlosser (co-producer/author of Fast Food Nation) at Curzon, Mayfair.  Stella will also host a party following the premiere at her flagship London store.

Stella McCartney commented, "I decided to co-host the premiere of Food, Inc. because it is the kind of film everyone should see and it is information everyone should have. It is terrifying and empowering and we are just trying to show the film to as many people as possible that might make a change. Just by watching it I felt I had done something for not only myself but my children as well."

Managing Director of Dogwoof, Andy Whittaker added, "we're delighted that Stella has agreed to host the UK Premiere of this important socially conscious film.  Food, Inc. is an "Inconvenient Truth" for food and we hope the film will empower consumers to help effect change.  Audiences are showing a real appetite for social issue films, and we see Food Inc. as the start of the next phase of bringing bigger and better, socially conscious films to UK audiences, following on from last year's successes with The Age of Stupid, The End of the Line andBurma VJ."

In Food, Inc., filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the consumer. Our food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, insecticide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won't go bad, but we also have new strains of e coli and we are riddled with widespread obesity, particularly among children, and an epidemic level of diabetes among adults.

Featuring interviews with experts such as Eric Schlosser (author of Fast Food Nation), Michael Pollan (author of The Omnivore's Dilemma), along with forward thinking social entrepreneurs such as Stonyfield Farms' Gary Hirschberg and Polyface Farms' Joe Salatin, Food, Inc. reveals surprising -- and often shocking truths -- about what we eat, how it's produced, who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here.

The UK Premiere of Food, Inc. is supported and Ben & Jerry's, in association with Ocado and Stoneyfield Farm, with special thanks to Amy's Organic.
