I am a new, and budding film director, who is willing to shoot short or feature-length movies. I hardly have any experience, but I am studying the subject, and I have made various low-budget efforts. If you wish to contact myself about directing your movie, then please e-mail the screenplay and I will consider making it. I will only direct a movie if I am going to receive a small sum after its completion. I am located in the central part of England, but I will consider travelling to areas of production. If I am uninterested in your work, I will be sure to mail your screenplay back to you. If I am interested, you'll get a reply after 24 hours of me reading your work. If you cannot send your screenplay to me for certain reasons, e-mail me your screenplay's synopsis and I'll consider that. GMAC Ltd. has secured the Scottish strategic partnership with the Film Council for their Tier one Digital Shorts Strategy and will deliver eight digital shorts per year to the New Cinema Fund. Three of these films will be delivered through Cineworks - a short film scheme aimed at filmmakers with some experience and five through a new Digital Shorts Scheme aimed at new entrants. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years experience in production and must be interested in developing new talent at grassroots level. The candidate must have flair and imagination as well as the ability to manage tight budgets and meet the contractual requirements of the Film Council's New Cinema Fund. Shooting live artists offers live artists, digital media artists and media producers UKP5,000 and UKP10,000 commissions. Productions can take a variety of forms such as; single screen work, work destined to be displayed as an installation, distributed on an interactive platform, or disseminated via networked media. The work should integrate elements of net distribution. The resulting Shooting live artists commissions will be premiered (completed or as work in progress) at this year's b.tv festival in Sheffield on November 30 and December 1.
