Working Title has come under attack from the Indian government over a scene involving a nun in the production company's latest film.
According to the The Singapore Straits newspaper, the Indian authorities are requesting that Britain's most powerful production company (Four Weddings, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones etc) appoint a state selected censor while they shoot Guru of the City. This would involve Working Title hiring a liaison officer to "ensure that nothing detrimental to the image of India or the Indian people will be included in the film."
The nun and liaison officer issues are two of ten conditions enforced including at least one script change.
