Shooting was completed yesterday on Billie Eltringham's new digital This is Not a Love Song, the New Cinema Funded written by Simon Beaufoy.
Filmed intensively over 12 days with healthy Film Council funding unique production relied on state-of-the-art digital video and a tireless cast and crew to complete a fast and furious feature film. The film comes is from the first batch of funding investments made by the fund in March.
Shooting began on the 5 July in Aberfoyle near Glasgow with the actors and the production team working round the clock to deliver the film in digital format. The story is based around two men whose friendship is tested to the limit when one of them accidentally shoots a farmer's girl. The brutal death leads to the community, bitter for revenge seeking their own justice in a hunt across the mountains.
