On Thursday the Film Council announced the appointment of Pippa Eldridge as Policy Executive.
Eldridge will play a key role in supporting the work of the two senior policy executives Aidan McDowell and Chris Chandler. She will co-ordinate and support the operation of the Regional Investment Fund for England (RIFE), the FC's First Light project and contribute to other policy initiatives. She will also collaborate on the development of FC policy and to the maintenance of effective working relations with film organisations nation-wide.
Eldridge previously worked in the BFI's Exhibition Development Unit, at the Watershed Media Centre in Bristol and as the administrator for Skillnet South West, the regional media training consortium for those working, or wishing to work in broadcast, film, video and multimedia industry in the south west of England.
