Media World Broadcasting Ltd, an established Australian film outfit has demonstrated a major breakthrough in the movies to PC's field.
They claim to have developed the technology to deliver high-quality, full-screen video to PC's in real time over a standard phone lines with a simple 28K modem,
Screen Daily released a story on Thursday that stated a demonstration of the radical new technology was monitored by Deloitte & Touche.
Apparently no funny business was spotted and that the system "undermines the need for broadband." MWB CEO John Tatoulis told the website, "We would not be in this if we were not 110 percent sure that the technology works. We now have the opportunity to revolutionise the distribution and entertainment industry."
