Working Title and Miramax's ußer hit Bridget Jones' Diary shows no sign of relenting in lining the pockets of its creators.
The Brit rom com has just smashed this year's record for the number of video rentals with well over 800,000 copies snapped up inside a week.
Bridget beat the previous first week record holder was Gladiator, which was hired out 837,020 times on its release in 2000.
