Following Scotland's Bollywood Way

Bollywood films shot in Scotland are proving so popular with cinema audiences that tourist board chiefs are expecting an influx of Indian tourists all anxious to see where their favourite films have been made.

The British Tourist Authority has decided to produce the definitive Bollywood map of Scotland, showing just where fifteen Indian films have been shot in Scotland over the past four years.

Indian tourism to Switzerland has risen from nothing to quarter of a million people a year since Bollywood switched to using the Alps as a favourite location instead of Kashmir. Now tourist chiefs are hoping Scotland will follow the same pattern.
