The
Tartan Shorts initiative creates an opportunity
for Scotland's filmmaking talent to make cinematic
short films. The scheme has been running for
seven years and each year, three projects are
awarded up to a maximum of £60,000 to produce
a 35 mm film. This year each film should be
of approximately 10 minutes duration. Guidelines
and application details for next year's scheme
should be available from mid-July 2001 and the
deadline for applications will be September
2001.
The scheme will be
relaunched in July 2001, the closing date for
applications is likely to be early September
2001. If you would like to be added to the database
to receive an application form and guidelines
for the 2001 scheme please contact Jo
Hufton
via email or on 0141 302 1728.
