Scottish
Screen has just published the findings of an
industry survey which was carried out in 2000
and the report is now available.
The
survey looked at skills shortages within the
freelance/staff producer sector and the business/development
needs of the independent production companies
in Scotland.
Over
62% of companies and 39% of individual producers
responded to the survey.
Scottish
Screen will be delivering a number of training
and development initiatives over the next two
years to address the issues arising from the
report.
Copies
of the report have been posted out to companies
and agencies, but copies are also available
from Scottish Screens information office.
