McGregor Denies Trainspotting Sequel

Ewan McGregor says he knows nothing about a possible sequel to Trainspotting.

Irvine Welsh is working on the sequel and director Danny Boyle has said he thinks everyone would be willing to come back for a second film.

McGregor says he hasn't spoken to Boyle for some years.

He tells www.record-mail.co.uk: "It's all very well saying we're making a remake of Trainspotting with all the crew and the cast that were in the first one, but surely you should ask the cast first. I haven't heard from them."

Hardly surprising, since Irvine Welsh’s sequel is not yet finished!

Once it is though, I am sure Danny will be in touch, Ewan…..
