Northern Film Funding

Northern Production Fund will be declaring a funding round within the next two weeks. Finance used in this round will that raised from ONE NorthEast.

As NPF have invested a considerable amount this year into the Tyne Tees First Cut series, the forthcoming digi-short scheme STINGERS (co-financed by the Film Council's New Cinema Fund) and the North Sea Project short, their priority for
support is to be company development, feature and series development and production.

Applications for short film production will be accepted, though it is likely that NPF will invest in fewer shorts this financial year. Deadline dates and guidelines will be announced soon. They ask enquirers to resist calling them at this stage as they are extremely busy with much still to do. More details will follow.
