old newcomer Ashley Thewlis from Manchester,
picked up two awards sponsored by Kodak.
The film, produced by Janey De Nordwall and
written by Julie Rutterford, won the Granada
Award for Best North West Short Film and the
City Life Best Short Film Award.
The UCI Award for Best British Short Film was
won by Snow On Saturday directed
by Imogen Stubbs, produced by Serena Carl &
Gordon Procter. (Winner receives a cash award
from UCI Cinemas) Runner up for this award was
the film Left Turn directed by Sean Ellis, produced
by Lene Bausanger.
