Sexy Beast has cleared up at the British Independent Film Awards, scooping the top four awards at an event that hosted the cream of British film talent.
Ray Winstone and Ben Kingsley joined Harvey Weinstein and Cate Blanchet for an event firmly entrenched in the British film calendar.
So entrenched, in fact, that Netribution wasn't invited, or even sent a press release by PR firm Cowen and Symes, but not for us to get sour grapes.
In fact we're happy to tell you what an 'amazing success' the evening was. And what a fantastic talent turnout, with John Hurt, Kate Ashfield, Saffron Burrows, Paul Webster, Richard Curtis, Tim Bevan, Adrian Lester, and the cream of UK producing talent. It delights us also to say that the food was much better than last year (apparently) and the ceremony itself slick and snappy. Bitter? Never!
