Ice Age 2 Still Hot UK Box Office

 

Cinema TicketThe animated sub-zero heroes in Ice Age 2: The Meltdown continued to delight audiences, remaining top of the box office charts for the fourth week running.

 

The second comic tale about Manny the mammoth and Sid the sloth held off Bruce Willis and his new action movie 16 Blocks, which entered the charts in second place, according to Screen International.

Horror film Silent Hill, which stars Sean Bean and is based on a video game, dropped from second to third spot, while horror movie spoof Scary Movie 4, dropped one place to fourth.

Comedy American Dreamz starring Hugh Grant as the host of a TV talent show, dropped one spot to fifth.

Horror movie Slither, which follows a small town taken over by an alien plague, was a new entry in at sixth.

Heist thriller Inside Man, which stars Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster, remained in seventh place while She's The Man, a modern day take on Shakespeare's romantic comedy Twelfth Night dropped three places to eighth.

Take The Lead, a dance drama starring Antonio Banderas, dropped three places to ninth, while Antarctic action drama Eight Below rounded out the top 10.
