Halloween blows short fuse at the ICA

 London's legendary limited length film love-in goes live Saturday.

 Kate and Phil are returning to the ICA, Curzon Soho and Roxy Bar once again for nine days of  sweet and sour short films.

  There's the Brothers Blaine back catalog, Allison Murray's latest film and the results of the Shooting People Destricted short porn competion, as well as VJ sets from Run Wrake and Max Hattler and a Light Surgeons retrospective.

Highlights include:

Destricted: short film competition challenging the boundaries between art and porn to be judged by Larry ClarkKids). (

UK premiere of Alison Murray’s Mouth To Mouth, starring up & coming Hollywood superstar Ellen Page (Hard Candy).

Retrospective from punk rock brothers of the head Ben & Chris Blaine, plus they curate a night of their favourite live bands.

Currently touring the UK with his moving image work, artist/filmmaker Matt Hulse presents some early gems.

Winners of Best Short at last year’s Halloween, visual artistes The Light Surgeons present a retrospective.

Soho-based animation company Sherbet present us with a retrospective of their short film and promo work.

Curzon Soho’s Sunday matinee, together with FourDocs, hosts a special of short documentaries about compelling female subjects.

The Priscillas combine 50s pin-up stylings with the excess of 60s garage pop, 70s glam, and a sound that screams NOW!

Berlin-based British & Irish film festival Britspotting is planning something extra special.
